Attract The Clients OF Your Dreams In Four Easy Steps - Right Order Concepts

attraction, clients, dream clients, ideal clients

I tried to stay away from you guys.  You know, give us some time to miss one another but a topic came to mind and I had to share.  Anyway, here goes.

When you’re a new business owner it’s tempting to almost beg a person to do business with you.  I know because I was once there.  It wasn’t until I read, 7 Biggest Marketing Mistakes Entrepreneurs Make and How to Avoid Them by Craig Garber, that I stop chasing clients and made myself available for them to pursue me instead.

In this post, I will share what I did to attract the clients of my dreams.  If you know me, you know I’m addicted to order, steps, and processes so note the order as I share what I did to attract the clients of my dream.  The amazing thing is, I didn’t realize a few of the steps we’re aiding me in attracting the clients of my dream, but they did.

Step 1: Prepared Myself To Be Pursued

I didn’t realize that when I created a logo for my business, built a website, and developed a marketing plan that I was preparing myself to be pursued.  I thought it was all apart of being a business owner. Building a brand.  Now I understand that these preparations were beneficial to my B2B company.  So please, whatever you do, lay a firm foundation to attract the clients of your dream.

Step 2: Started Networking Like Never Before

Since starting my business May 2014, my confidence is through the roof and shows through my networking abilities.  I was always a self-conscious person, but now I can network with the best of them. When you’re networking, you’re planting seeds.  While you may not reap an immediate harvest, the seed has been planted.  Meaning, while you may not land a client just by attending an event and meeting new people, you’ll be at the top of their mind when they or someone they know needs your service. Moreover, network with a variety of people, even when you don’t have anything in common with the person or people you’re networking with because business by word of mouth is the best and easiest business you could have.

Step 3: Provided Value 80% of The Time

I learned early that the key to business owner success is to provide value.  Maybe you’re thinking, now how do I do that.  Here’s how.  If your business is offline, provide value by giving A1 customer service.  If someone come into your establishment, greet them.  Old fashion customer service is not dead.  At least it shouldn’t be!  Don’t be over the top but definitely prove to potential customers that you’re the best fit for them.  Give them something different from what they expect.  If online, hang out where your potential clients hang out and when the opportunity arises address their pain points.  They’ll remember how you made them feel when they need your expertise.

Step 4: Resisted Temptation To Being A Fake

Resist the temptation to being a fake.  Being dishonest, fake, and phony  will not attract the clients of your dream.  Make it your business to resist temptation and be authentically you.  I don’t know everything and because of my work I read a lot.  However, when I put out material, I turn a deaf ear and blind eye to everything and allow my true self  to shine through.  Because I’ve resisted the temptation to faking it, I’ve developed lasting relationships on and off-line.  Who do you think gets the call when a need arise?

Okay, enough of that.  I think you get my point.  If you haven’t done so already, subscribe in the field to your right or below.  I’ll hate for you to miss out on all the juiciness I have in store.  Enjoy the rest of your week.  I’ll write to you again Friday.

Hugs,
~A
