Oh How I Love WordPress! - Right Order Concepts

WordPress, content management systems, website setup

What’s up dudes and dudettes?  Yes, I’m writing blogs on a Saturday.  Once you get started, it’s pretty addictive.  Just wanted to come to you and talk about my love for WordPress.  I must admit, I’m biased when it comes to the platform I use to manage websites.  In the past, I’ve managed websites using my college drive, Luminus Content Management, and Flash.  WordPress surpassed them all. WordPress is my favorite over any website platform because of its content management system, easy to use admin panel and customization capabilities.  Really, there aren’t any limits to the websites you can create and maintain using WordPress.

WordPress Is A Content Management System

Yes, WordPress is a content management system. It can be used to publish, edit and modify content. In addition, the platform could be used to organize, delete and maintain content. Some of the content that can be managed on the WordPress platform are images, files, and videos. So, yeah WordPress is definitely a content management system.

Easy to Use

The easy to use admin panel adds another plus for WordPress. I’m a conventional thinker and I tend to preference any system that sticks with conventional methods. With WordPress, the admin panel has a conventional setup. The tabs you use to setup and manage your website is to the left and your work will appear to the right.

Highly Customizable

Unlike some of the other platforms I’ve used, WordPress customization capabilities are A1. With WordPress, you can totally transform the look of your template if you’re comfortable with using codes within your stylesheet. If you’re not comfortable with using codes, many of the customization you will need could be done with a plugin.

In conclusion, WordPress is dominating the website builder industry. Top brands, such as Beyonce, Sony, and The New Yorker are using the platform. For me, being able to manage my content within an easy to use, highly customizable system have me hooked. Do you use WordPress for your website? What do you like most about the platform?

If you haven’t done so already, please subscribe to this blog. That way you’re always in the loop of all things ROC.  Next week you’ll probably hear less of me as I will be preparing for the brand series interviews.  This one interviewee shock the crap out me when she agreed to an interview.  She somewhat of a big deal!  I think you will be both pleased and inspired.  One last question.  What are you doing to make your dreams come true?  Talk to me.  I need to hear from you!
